Specify the opening that the label must bridge
Mark the pack opening and show both surfaces the label must contact. Include an unopened approved example and describe what evidence should remain after the pack is opened. The label material, adhesive and package design need to be considered together with the application machinery.
Ask for the trial to follow the pack through label placement, wipe-down and the agreed opening assessment. Keep placement accuracy separate from the intended tamper-evident function. A label spanning a closure is not, on its own, evidence that every required packaging function has been established.
